Jeff Boxer joined the firm as Of Counsel in 2012, and became a Partner the same year. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and Occidental College.
Jeff specializes in public and private sector labor and employment law, representing unions in collective bargaining, grievance administration, and litigation before the PERB, NLRB, federal and state courts. He has developed a special expertise in disability law, public/privacy issues, internal union governance and governmental organization. He also has volunteered extensively in the non-profit world, including as a Board member for the Disability Rights Legal Center and the Learning Rights Law Center.
As with the other lawyers at the Firm, he lectures regularly on collective bargaining, labor and employment law related subjects, for both union training purposes and at professional events. Jeff has lectured at UCLA, UCLA’s Anderson School of Business, Cal State Dominquez Hills, Loyola Law School and a host of other educational institutions.
He has a 14 year old daughter who is widely considered to be smarter than him.
